Therapy
The therapeutic relationship we establish will be characterized by respect and cooperation. You have the right to choose alternatives and to participate in designing your treatment plan. You are entitled to an explanation of your condition and the treatment that will be provided as well as the probable duration and adverse risk involved.
Please know that it is impossible to guarantee any specific results regarding your goals for the therapy process; however, together we can work to achieve the best possible results for you. Through therapeutic techniques and methods, I will offer you ways in which you can reach your goals and objectives. I practice in a professional manner that is consistent with the National Board of Certified Counselors Code of Ethics.
Our sessions are very important to me, as are you. I plan my day around our scheduled appointments, so please be considerate and timely in notifying me of changes to your plans. Cancellations or rescheduling will be considered when notification is at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session start time.
Each session begins at the scheduled time and lasts for 50 or 75 minutes. Should you arrive late for an appointment, we will begin shortly after your arrival and end at the scheduled time. If you are experiencing financial challenges that impact your ability to maintain a current account, please inform me so that I may work with you toward a resolution.
